Technical Specifications for Portable Multi-Gas Detectors
Gas detection is a very important safety procedure for many units, as many production processes require the use of potentially toxic gases and some processes may produce hazardous gas by-products. If regular equipment maintenance and inspection monitoring can be carried out, this danger can be detected early and controlled to the minimum extent.
The most outstanding feature of the portable multi gas detector is that it can detect multiple types of gases by replacing the corresponding sensor module. Without the need to purchase separate hosts for each type of gas, a single detector can be used in combination with different sensors to detect over 30 different gases or vapors. The sensors can be plug and play without the need for recalibration.
The sensor uses a new type of lightweight sensor module, where each sensor module is a composite device containing a sensor, amplifier, and memory module inside. Based on this design, each sensor module can be independently calibrated and plug and play. If it is installed in a host and the corresponding calibration data is input to the microprocessor, there is no need for further adjustment. In the future, when detecting gases, each sensor replacement does not require recalibration.
The instrument can upload and download data to the computer through an RS-232 interface, dedicated interface cable, and specialized software.
